Description
It’s high summer, and the Aegean is yours to cherish for three entire days. We’ll take you up close to some of the most beautiful places in the Eastern Mediterranean. This itinerary features some of the true jewels of our home waters.

We depart from Piraeus, the main port of Athens, so prior to your departure you can avail yourself of everything this vibrant, cosmopolitan, historically rich city has to offer. One of the world’s oldest cities, Athens is dense with ancient monuments, chic cafes and unique shops. Wander through Plaka to the Acropolis and the New Acropolis Museum, one of the finest museums in the world.

Mykonos is renowned for its lovely countryside and its beaches, its iconic windmills and sea breezes, the Little Venice neighborhood of Mykonos Town…you will feel as if you’ve fallen into a dream. Stroll through the picturesque alleys of Mykonos Town and, after the sun slips into the sea, enjoy its exhilarating nightlife. It only takes a few hours on this paradisiacal island to understand how it’s earned its incredible reputation.

We leave Mykonos to sail overnight for the white sand beaches of quiet Kusadasi, which are a stone’s throw from Ancient Ephesus and the Terrace Houses, the House of the Virgin Mary, beautiful Sirince Village and the thrilling metropolis of Izmir. This scenic port will entice you with its lively harborside bazaar, as will nearby Ancient Ephesus, one of the seven cities of Roman Asia and an archeological marvel, one of the best-preserved ancient sites in the Mediterranean and a mere 19 kilometers from Kusadasi. Kusadasi is also home to Adaland, one of the world’s best water parks.

Enjoy lunch on board as we sail from Kusadasi to Samos – enjoy a specialty coffee on one of our decks as we arrive in Samos. You’ll be amazed by its lush landscapes and its crystal clear waters. Samos was home to some of the great minds of ancient Greece, including Aesop and Pythagoras – feed your mind at the Archeological Museum, home to the Kouros of Samos, a 6th century BC statue. Join us for a 4x4 tour of the island, or quietly conquer a sunbed on Tsamadou Beach. We’d also like to invite you a traditional Samian feast. Samos is famous for its wine (the Moschato variety) and its fruit, olive oil and ouzo, among other delicious local products. If you decide to join us for the feast, come hungry!

We sail overnight from Samos for a full day on spectacular Milos. A geological marvel, volcanic Milos and its rare formations will absolutely dazzle you. This Aegean paradise is also home to the greatest number of beaches in the Cyclades. Stroll along the marble-paved esplanade along the harbor in Adhamas, and visit the Church of PanagiaThalassitra for one of the best views in the Aegean.

After your last delicious dinner on board and a night of music and dancing, fall asleep as we sail toward Athens. Disembark in Lavrion feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after three tremendous days in the Aegean and the kind of unforgettable pampering you’ll only find on a Louis cruise. We’ll see you again very soon, won’t we?
